Aris
Tsamis - President and Owner
Aris has been involved in the sailing
business since the early 1970's,
working his way from basic entry
positions through rigging, sales,
instruction, warranty, and
management. Aris has been a
positive, consistent influence for
the growth of the wind and water
sports community in North Texas.
A
native of North Texas, Aris has been
an avid sailor since he was eleven;
bringing decades of knowledge to our
company. With a warm,
energetic, and enthusiastic approach
to all things (including his staff
and customers) he can invoke
pleasant communication with anyone,
allowing him to promote his passions
through the business.
Aris is also a walking encyclopedia on
all subjects related to sailing,
windsurfing, paddling, and standup
paddle boarding (he has bona fide,
extensive experience in most of
these water sports venues).
If Aris doesn't know the answer to
your questions he'll do his best to
find the answers from our extensive
source of industry contacts.

Alan Raby
-
Windsurfing, Kayaks, IT (Web
Marketing),
and Shipping
This passionate and gregarious young
fellow is always stoked about
helping people get on the water.
A native of the Texas Coast, Alan
was first introduced to windsurfing
through Mariner Sails over seven
years ago. He quickly devoured
everything related to the sport, and
shortly thereafter found himself
'hooked' in the wake of tropical
storms on the coast. When
given an opportunity to promote the
sport he goes from slightly stoic to
immediately animated; he leaves no
question of windsurfing's place as a
pure form of sailing and at the top-end
of all water sports. Alan
is also an experienced paddler, and
can sometimes be found paddling with
Chris and Mike on Thursday nights at White
Rock Lake. To help promote windsurfing, Alan has recently founded www.windsurfquest.net.

Daniel Carroll
-
Sail Maker & Sail Repair
This hardworking young fellow's
knowledge of sail making and sailing
is second to none.
Daniel has had years of sail making experience long before he first joined us. Daniel is also a very experienced sailor, both on inland lakes and coastal sailing (mostly coastal sailing). His favorite sailing is on catamarans. Daniel can answer any sailing or sail making question with loads of technical detail and expertise.

Rose Rayes
-
Seamstress
Rose is hardworking and a pleasant
presence for all who know her.
Rose is the force behind the scenes for our sail making department. Without rose we would be unable to keep up with the ever-increasing amount of orders in our sail loft. She is responsible for much of the stitching, fabric processing, and non-sailing related construction.

Liz Obregon
-
Seamstress
Liz is our most recent addition to
our sail loft staff. As our
sail loft business grows, we are
delighted to have her onboard.
Liz is the daughter of one of our most prized former employees, and invaluable to us with a project in 2008. Her charming presence is most welcome.
